To celebrate our last night in Cambodia, Hoy took us out to a local bar for Snow Beer, also known as cold beer served in nice cold frosty glasses. The beers were cheap, the atmosphere was inviting and the company was great. It was nice because Hoy invited one of his friends to come meet us to get some beers.
We sat to get some drinks, delivered and recorded by plastic plates. At the end of the night, they count the number of plates you have at your table and that is how many beers you have had. I’m not sure this method would work in the states given some drunken coaster Frisbee I have seen and may have taken part of, but it works in Cambodia.
Jess went up and talked to a guy wearing a Portland shirt. How random. He got it from some guy he met traveling from Portland. They traded shirts.
And then some more fun occurred. Yeah Cambodia!
