Zack and I packed the water and cameras and ventured into the city. After getting a little lost and making some illegal maneuvers with the brown wagon in downtown KL, we found our destination, Lake Park. This little slice of greenery is not unlike any other city park. Animals, manicured lawns, tourist sites and great views are in Lake Park, just like you would find in Central Park or Golden Gate Park in the states.
First we went to the largest outdoor aviary in the world called Bird Park. It was hot, muggy and mosquitoes reigned supreme, but we did see some pretty cool birds and got to catch up as we meandered through the sights.
Then we walked around lake park and visited deer park. It was a joke and a half. Kind of like a deer jail.
After we saw the sad deer trying to chomp on a leaf the size of its head, we took off and picked Cody up from work and had some beers.
