After a light Indian snack at the bottom of the caves in a hawker stall, we headed to a store to pick up some supplies up for school. As we were pulling into our parking space the car died. This would have been no big deal since the junker stalls periodically, but then it would not start again. Holy hell, it sucked. We were stranded for three hours at the shopping center waiting for a pick up by our friend Lai Wan. The car is in the shop now and we are awaiting our car fate. It majorly sucks. Cody vowed many years ago, never to have a car that breaks down again, after being stranded in the Terwilliger Curves in Portland, but now we have a car just like that and instead of the US, we live in Malaysia, where we don’t know street names and don’t have many friends to help us out. Our best hope is that it gets straightened out for real. Keep your fingers crossed and say a little prayer to the car gods for us.
